
What is The Joyful Parenting Project?
Parenting isn’t meant to feel like you are in constant survival mode.
It can feel joyful. Light. Connected.
The Joyful Parenting Project is a guided 8-week program for families ready to bring more calm, connection, and play into their everyday lives with their kids.
You’ll explore playful tools like yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, different ways to include simple and effective play into your daily routine, stress and time management skills and emotional regulation — all things you can do with your kids… but also just for you. Because you matter, too.
The difference with this program is it will be tailored to you and your family because I genuinely believe there is not one way of doing things or a particular parenting style to follow as you, your children and your circumstances are unique. So let me support you to parent and live a more joyful, playful, connected and authentic life with your little people.
Through live Zoom sessions, mindful activities, and supportive coaching, you’ll feel more grounded in your role as a parent — and supported in who you are, too.

🟡 Weekly 90-minute live Zooms
Join me from 7:45–9:15 PM AEST – Includes module review, breathwork, gentle movement, mindful parenting tools, skills & real conversations.
All Zooms are recorded so you don’t have to worry if you miss it. I get it, life happens and with kids, anything is possible.

You will have access to 8 online modules that you can keep beyond the program. Each week explores a joyful parenting theme like:
- The importance of play
- Time management & playful rituals
- Emotions & self-regulation (for parents and kids)
- Self-care practices that actually fit into family life
🟡 Coaching Support via Telegram
We’ll meet weekly on Zoom, share ideas in a supportive thread between sessions, have direct access to coaching and create space for more laughter and lightness in your days. Ask questions, get ideas, or receive support between calls.

Weekly Flow Overview
The specifics of the program will be guided by the families within the group as it is a practial and immersive program to support you and your families circumstances.
However, we will cover fun, the Importance of Play, Time Management for Connection, Play Ideas & Rituals, Emotions & Triggers and self-care.
Participants will have a call with Rachel prior to the session to share any specific areas they want to work on and skills they wish to develop.

Why I Created The Joyful Parenting Project

Hi, I’m Rachel — a mum, yoga teacher, and founder of Shine Om and Shine Om Natural.
I created this program because I believe joyful, connected parenting should feel possible. After years of teaching mindfulness to kids and families — and walking my own wild, wonderful parenting path — I know the power of simple tools, shared support, and slowing down.
This container is about giving you permission to soften into parenting with more grace, humour, and presence.
This is a container I wish I had when I first became a mumma — and I can’t wait to offer it to 6 beautiful families in this first round.
